Language courses
At MNASL, we offer specialized language courses for different ages and levels. Our method focuses on natural learning through interaction and communication from day one.
Proficiency Levels
Our courses are structured at different levels to ensure adequate progress for each student:
Absolute Beginner
Ideal if you’ve never studied the language. You don’t know any words and can’t hold a simple conversation.
Beginner
You’ve been taking classes for a maximum of 2 years. You can understand some things and speak a little, but you’re still building your basic skills.
Intermediate
You’ve been in classes for between 2 and 4 years. You can hold a basic conversation, but have difficulty talking about the past.
Advanced
You’ve been in classes for 4 years or more. You can hold a fluent conversation on a wide variety of topics, including the past. You rarely have trouble understanding or expressing yourself.
Ages
Our courses are specifically designed for the needs of each age group:
Children – 6 to 10 years old
Class length: 45 minutes
Modality: Exclusively in person
Students learn the language through games, role-playing, videos, songs, drawings, clay, etc. A playful approach that makes learning a fun experience.
11-14 Tweens
We continue with playful activities but expand the conversation time about everyday life. Students begin to develop greater fluency in real-life situations.
15-18 Teenagers
Classes are similar to those for adults but with materials focused on topics of interest to them (YouTubers, soccer players, TV shows, etc.). We maintain motivation through content relevant to their world.
Adults (+18)
Focus on conversation and meeting basic needs. We use interactive activities in which the student interacts with the teacher through actions and/or gestures until they feel comfortable beginning to use their first words.
Note: These observations correspond to the beginner level. At intermediate levels, the dynamic is similar but with more advanced topics and the incorporation of reading and writing to encourage dialogue through multiple channels.
Course Modalities
We offer different modalities to adapt to your needs:
Online (Zoom)
All our classes are interactive from the first day. A distinctive feature of MANSL is that students don’t have to speak until they feel ready, but they must answer questions from the beginning using gestures and actions (yes/no, numbers with fingers, pointing, etc.).
Technical requirement: Computer or laptop (no mobile phones) to allow cursor interaction during activities.
Available for: Tweens (11-14), teens, and adults.
In-person
Traditional modality with direct interaction with the teacher and other students. Ideal for immersive learning.
Especially recommended for: Young children (6-10 years old).
Current availability: Exclusively at our school in Szczecin, Poland.
